The Earth Information
Jukebox.

The NASA Earth Information Center (EIC) produces breathtaking planetary visualizations, but presenting Earth science solely through sight limits its reach. NEXUS transforms satellite imagery into a rich, real-time multisensory soundscape—allowing anyone to hear the living dynamics of our changing planet.

A Full-Signal Multisensory Instrument Instead of simple pitch beeps, NEXUS extracts multiple planetary signatures—surface intensity, vegetative proxies, oceanic depth, thermal energy, and spatial textures—synthesizing them into polyphonic harmony, stereo position, and rhythmic pulse.
